The Struggle is Real With This One

It's been 7 months since we stepped into the MiLab as a 3rd year students.

Those steps might not be the first steps we took into the lab, but those were the most meaningful steps we have made since we first started our college paths.

I cannot conclude these 7 months which is why we opened this blog in the first place, but I do feel like I need to show you a mid-way feelings.

This project made us to face with some of the greatest challenges this profession can provide.

CHALLENGES

1st challenge - the challenge to reach our target audience. All of our parents are no longer 40-50 YO, in cases we have a bigger siblings they are not 40 yet. So we needed to come up with a creative solutions. We got into various Facebook groups, we made friendships with our target audience (one of my best friends is 45 year old, thanks to SoulCall), we contacted relatives from a distance and more. This challenge showed us how important it is to have a superb human abilities in order to make our product grow.

The 2nd challenge we faced was the fact we are 5 people with 5 different schedules, all of us are working during the year and it made us to become flexible with our times so we can meet all together. WE MADE IT! There is a top priority to the ability of being flexible.

Our 3rd challenge - COVID-19. I don't think I need to talk much about the biggest challenge the humanity have seen in the recent history. All of our meetings happened trough the ZOOM platform, we had connections issues and reaching our target audience and each other became even harder now. Spoiler alert - we beat this challenge like the champions we are!

We found the path to reach our target audience from a far, we stayed in touch on a daily basis with each other and even though at some point it felt like our motivation was gone, we immediately got back on our feet and kept going.

Our 4th challenge is the one we recently started facing with. We need to create a promotional video in order to promote our product in the market. We are still trying to figure out how we can show the effect of Altruism on our self-fulfillment emotions in the most minimalist way we can. But as much as I know our team, we will overcome it in our own special way... So stay tuned, it's going to be beautiful.

Our main conclusions were that in these professions we must be creative, have great human skills, be productive and no matter what - always remember what was our motivation in the first place.
